      How to create shortcuts and bookmarks for Chalkstring

      Creating a desktop shortcut

      A desktop shortcut allows you to quickly access the Chalkstring login page without opening your browser first.

      Windows users

      1. Open your web browser and go to the Chalkstring login page (https://my.chalkstring.com)
      2. Click and drag the icon to the left of the address from within the address bar to your desktop.
      3. Release the mouse button to create the shortcut.
      4. Rename the shortcut if desired by right-clicking the shortcut, selecting 'Show more options' and clicking 'Rename'. (e.g., "Chalkstring Login").

      Alternatively, you can:

      1. Right-click on an empty space on your desktop.
      2. Select 'New' > 'Shortcut' from the context menu.
      3. In the "Create Shortcut" window, enter the Chalkstring login URL (https://my.chalkstring.com).
      4. Click 'Next', then enter a name for the shortcut (e.g., "Chalkstring Login").
      5. Click 'Finish' to create the shortcut.

      Mac users

      1. Open Safari and navigate to https://my.chalkstring.com.
      2. Resize the Safari window so you can see both your desktop and the Safari window.
      3. Click and drag the URL from the address bar to your desktop.
      4. Rename the shortcut if desired by right-clicking and selecting ‘Rename’ (e.g., "Chalkstring Login").

      Adding Bookmarks

      Bookmarking the Chalkstring login page allows for quick access within your browser:

      Google Chrome

      1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the Chalkstring login page (https://my.chalkstring.com).
      2. Click the star icon on the right side of the address bar.
      3. In the popup that appears, enter the name you would like to call the bookmark.
      4. Click the folder dropdown to select where you want to save the bookmark.
      5. Click 'Done' to save the bookmark.

      Microsoft Edge

      1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to the Chalkstring login page (https://my.chalkstring.com)..
      2. Click the star icon on the right side of the address bar.
      3. In the popup that appears, enter the name you would like to call the bookmark.
      4. Click the folder dropdown to select where you want to save the bookmark.
      5. Click 'Done' to save the bookmark.

      Safari

      1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to the Chalkstring login page (https://my.chalkstring.com).
      2. Click the share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) next to the address bar.
      3. Select 'Add Bookmark' from the dropdown menu.
      4. Name the bookmark (e.g., "Chalkstring Login") and choose a location (e.g., Favourites).
      5. Click 'Add' to save the bookmark.
