What is an admin?
An admin user in Chalkstring is someone that has been given Administrator role permissions. This allows you to add new users and set role permissions for them across the system.
This article covers the functions that are available to Administrators in the Admin section of Chalkstring.

Adding and editing users
Before anyone in your organisation can use Chalkstring they need to be set up as a user of the system.
This article covers how to add, edit and archive users.
Your Chalkstring subscription includes a specified number of users. An active user is any user record that is not archived. If you have a change in personnel you can use these instructions to archive the previous user and set up a new one.
If you have additional staff that will be using Chalkstring you may need to request new user licenses. You can use this form to request more licenses.
Adding and editing roles
Roles are used to control the access each user has to the features within Chalkstring. There are some predefined roles and you can also add your own.

Adding and editing work packages
Work packages are used when adding projects to group the types of work to be completed. They are also used when sharing information with your accounts package to categorise types of revenue.
