Enhanced Drawing Annotation
The drawing labels feature allows you to place clear, dedicated text labels directly onto your drawings. Labels can be customised with your chosen text, background colour, and borders, and each one automatically includes a timestamp.
This feature is useful for adding important notes, instructions, or clarifications directly on a drawing without relying on freehand sketches. It’s ideal for marking up areas that need attention, adding reminders for your team, or keeping a record of changes and decisions made during the project.
How to use drawing labels
- The free measure function is accessed from the 'Markup' section of takeoff.
- From any takeoff drawing, navigate to the 'Markup' section and click 'Add label' in the floating toolbar.
- Click on the drawing to select where you want to add your label. Enter your required text.
- You can change the colour, background, size and turn the border on or off.
- Click done when completed.
- You can move the label around on the drawing by left click on the label and dragging it to your designed location.
- Once added, you can edit or delete a label by clicking on it and selecting the relevant options.
