What is the accounts section for?
The accounts section of Chalkstring serves 2 key functions.
Firstly, it acts as a quick access portal to all the data being generated and managed across all your projects. The section cumulates together all the cost and revenue data, into searchable and filterable tables to quickly access what is needed, and these filtered results can also be exported as financial spreadsheets/reports.
Secondly, for customers who are transferring the project data originating in Chalkstring, directly into existing accounts software via bulk data imports, this section enables you to set up matching cost codes, so the imported data automatically populates the right parts of the accounting software without manual rekeying
