We are delighted to be able to bring you this latest update to Chalkstring which has been driven by your feedback for feature requests.
This release includes some new features and some improvements to the existing features.
New features
Redesigned project home page
Based on your feedback, we have made improvements to the structure and layout of the project home page to make it easier and quicker to navigate. You can now find project, package, and assessment information all in one place, allowing for more efficient management of your projects.

Additional exportable bills
In addition to the material and labour bills, we have now added additional exportable bills.
- Fixed costs - From the 'Fixed costs bill' page of the 'Fixed costs' section of an onsite project, after selecting a package, you can export a copy of the fixed costs bill by clicking the 'Export fixed costs bill' button.
- External costs - From the 'External costs' page of an onsite project, a, you can export a copy of the external costs by clicking the 'Export costs' button.
- Supply & fit - From the 'Incoming application bill' page of the 'Applications' section of an onsite project, after selecting a package, you can export a copy of the supply & fit costs bill by clicking the 'Export supply & fit bill' button.
Improvements to existing features
Improvements to material and labour bill exports
When exporting bills, the 'Deviation' tab now feature an extra column that offers more details on 'Live deviation' changes made to your onsite projects. This enhancement provides greater transparency and more accurate project forecasting.

Additional addresses on purchase orders
If a supplier has multiple offices listed in their supplier record, you can now choose which office to include on the purchase order that you download. This gives you greater control and flexibility when managing your orders.
Improved progress update information
As well as showing you when a products progress was last updated, it now shows you which user was the most recent person to update progress.
